History of the Boink!TM

The inventor of the Boink!TM, Colleen Murphy, was only 12 years old! Colleen thought of the idea for the  BOINKS!TM when her father brought home some coiled-plastic packing materials. She, her brother, and some friends started playing with it.  Voila! A new toy was born.  In 1988, Colleen and her Boinks appeared on The Dr.Fad Show. The Dr.Fad show is a Saturday morning show that highlights the wacky creations of entrepreneurial kids.  Colleen won the grand prize for young inventors that included $2,000.00 in prizes. Amongst them was a trip to Space Camp for her wacky invention the BOINK!TM  Boinks!TM have appeared everywhere from the CBS Newsroom, to the New York Stock Exchange.
